This assignment is a term project. You will select a career field(s) to research and will participate with at least one informational interview with two professionals in your desired field(s) [see above for assignment details]. In addition to your slide report you will include a one-page, type-written-double spaced summary. Using as much of the information that you used in the slide report, your one-page summary will address the following: Why you chose the career/occupation; How it connects with who you are (for example-your interests, personality, values, etc.) and what you will be doing next to move closer to attaining your career goal. You will present your findings in your report so that others will benefit from expanded awareness about different careers. A template and examples of successfully completed Professional Summary Reports will be posted in a separate folder in the “Files” section if CANVAS. Additional grading criteria, using a report rubric will be provided for the class.
