Write an essay that analyzes two articles in terms of their rhetorical context (author, audience, purpose) and rhetorical appeals (ethos, pathos, logos). Audience
Write your comparative rhetorical analysis essay to the class and your instructor. Think of the essay as though it were going to be published in a book for this class, analyzing the articles in question for the benefit of students who will take the course next time it is offered. The tone should be formal, and as an example of excellence, the writing should demonstrate a high degree of precision, deep analysis, and language use and conventions appropriate to an academic setting.
