Essay/Topic Assignment
Write a 2-3 page cause/effect paper based on the two essays, that you read this week. In this paper you should discuss the two essays and what the conflict is in each, what the conflict causes, and what is its effect? Consider:
Who or what causes the conflict?
How does the conflict have an effect on the characters and/or plot?
Is there a resolution to the conflict? Why or why not?
Your essay needs an introductory PP tha gives general background information and ends with a thesis statement that you will prove, using examples from the 2 readings.
The paper should be double spaced, using 12 point font, and must be submitted using MsWord. Your essay must have a Works Cited page created using Easybib, via NSCC Library homepage, and internal citations. Both must be in MLA format. You may refer to the information on the library homepage, or Google Purdue Owl as they have excellent examples. NOTE there is NO use of “I” in this essay as it is NOT about you.
Please submit an attachment of your rough draft of essay one. Be sure your name and Rough Draft Essay one is on the top of the essay and as a title. i.e.: burt, rough draft essay one (do not use special characters such as # sign as it will not submit)
