Try to interview someone who can give you useful information. If you can find someone who has the career you want and is willing to talk to you for five or ten minutes about it, that might be the most useful thing you learn in this course. If you can’t find someone with the job you want, consider talking to a counselor or a teacher. Transfer counselors, including representatives from Sacramento State, Stanislaus State, Pacific, and UC Davis, come to Delta regularly to recruit students, so you can arrange to meet with one of them in the Career Transfer Center. As a last resort, if you can’t find anyone else, talk to one of your parents for their advice about your career path (and find out how much they are willing to help).
