The first part of your presentation will involve an analysis of how your story fits within the literary movement it is from. Each member of the group should analyze at least one quotation from the story that demonstrates a characteristic of the movement. ·
For the second part of your presentation, each member of the group will present a different interpretive question regarding the story: something that isn’t clear-cut, that could be answered one way or the other, depending on the evidence one uses from the story. Each group member will lead several other members of the class in a five-seven minute breakout room discussion based on their question. This will help you immensely when it’s time to write a paper based on your interpretive question. Crowdsourcing is a great part of the early writing process!
