You may use research from newspapers or online news sites or TV programs. Anything you use should be cited UNLESS it is common knowledge. For example, we all know that the New Jersey Governor closed schools, required people to wear masks when going to the grocery store, etc. You do not have to cite information like that. However, if you decide to include certain comments or stories you found through outside research, please cite these by using signal phrases in-text citations, and a Works Cited page. You do NOT have to use outside research, but you can.
I mainly want to hear what YOU think because of what you have witnessed firsthand, seen on TV, heard about on social media or from conversations with your friends. What are you thinking? The general consensus is that when our states and country “re-open,” all of us will have learned some lessons. What have you been learning, and how will what has been learned affect your/our country’s future?
You do NOT have to discuss all of these categories. You may choose 3 or more.
