#4 External Audit (Student)

After reading our text I was able to discover information about external strategic management auditing. There are many factors and tools involved with the external strategic management audits. An external audit is when the environment around a business is scanned and analyzed to identify the threats or the opportunities for the business at hand. Having a group conduct this audit would allow for a lesser chance of bias having more than one set of eyes. That group must gather information from many sources with a diverse broad pulling of information. There is also the assimilating, and the analyzing of the external information in which they find. They are trying to discover the opportunities for the business as well as the threats to stay clear of or be prepared for.
