For this task, imagine that you are the owner of the Oakland Raiders. It is time to build a new stadium. Create a proposal to present to city officials that justifies your reasons for public subsidization of the facility. Be sure to assert your position concerning the need for a new football stadium and the benefits of public subsidization, both structurally and socially.

Include the primary sources of public sector funding that you are recommending. Be sure to compare and contrast public and private sector funding if you are proposing the implementation of a public-private partnership.

Present both sides of your argument, as well as your plan to move forward when the venture is agreed upon.

Remember to support your claims with both credible and scholarly sources.
