Length/requirements: 3500-4000 words, cited, edited, spell checked. You need to use at least 10 sources; at least 5 must be academic (peer reviewed) sources; the others can be reliable non-academic sources (your minor area subject librarian can help you determine if non-academic sources are reliable, if you don’t already know how to do that. You can also, of course, ask me).

This final project should relate to one or both of your minor areas of study. Your final project will be a researched product that has two parts:

Part one:

Write a 2500-3000 word researched essay that formulates an original line of inquiry into a complex problem related to globalization, using your major areas of concentration to propose a solution. Some examples of what you might investigate are:

Part two will be a self-evaluation essay (1000 words) in which the student describes both the research processes that went into the project and how his/her understanding of globalization has evolved from the beginning of the semester, especially focusing on what you understood globalization to be at the beginning of the semester and what you understand of it now, after you have spent a semester studying it.

For part one how can social workers use social media and technology to relate or to intervene with adolescents who are at risk.
