I have to find a theme in the short story by Cristina Rossi, The Influence of Edgar Allen Poe on the Poetry of Raimundo Arias. The history behind the story has to do with the author’s exile from Uruguay and in this story, it’s also about an exile. I’m in English 111 and she wants us to dig deeper and look at the theme to create a thesis and conflicts that happen in the story.
