Pick a country Gather data on GDP, unemployment, Inflation, population, Money supply and some of the macro-variables for your country and for the US. Calculate growth rate, per capita GDP, exchange rate (with the US) for your country and the US. Present your data in some form. Examples would be power point presentation, video clip, poster etc. Present your country with any additional data/information that you learned during this project that you would like to share. Above all, make it interesting and fun!
If you are writing a paper, your analysis of the data should not take more than 2 pages. One paragraph on the country you have chosen, why and any other interesting facts. The second paragraph briefly describe the macro economic variables over a period of time (10 to 20 years). Compare your country to that of the U.S. over the same time period for the third paragraph and conclusion in the last paragraph. Attach all the relevant graphs to the paper as an appendix. If you are recording yourself, it should not take more than 5 minutes.
