Derrick – New employee who is in the Army Reserve

Mitch – Supervisor of large work area who is responsible for hiring/firing employees

Fred – Mid-level manager who is an avid hunter

Maggie -Long-time employee who is a victim of domestic violence

Renata – Occupational Safety and Health Manager of the company

Sam – Unarmed security guard employed through a local security agency

Assuming one of the above roles, post your reaction to the article. Be sure to indicate your role in the title of your posting and consider the following points:

Are there any circumstances where you feel that an employee would need to bring a weapon onto company property?

Do you think that employers who allow weapons on their property run a legitimate risk of being cited for a general duty clause violation? In other words, are they failing to provide a safe workplace for their employees?
