How to Get Started

Discuss your identity in four different ways.

Relationships – Define your identity by discussing how your friends and family affect your identity.
Environment – Define your identity by discussing where you live and work and how those things affect your identity.
Personal choice – Define your identity by discussing your personal style. For example what you like to eat, your favorite type of entertainment, and your wardrobe.
Technology – Define how technology (social media, cell phones, computers) affect your identity.
Compare your identity to a character or characters from each one of the films that we watched in this module. In addition to writing about the character’s relationships, environment, and personal choice, you can discuss the challenges that the character’s face in the film and how you relate to those challenges.
