How did you apply the forensic theories you learned during your education to actual practices?
PSY 626 10-1 Short Paper: Reflection Essay
Rubric and everything needed attached to write this
You have reached the end of your journey through the course. As is useful in any setting, we will take this week to reflect on what you have learned, how you have changed, and where you think you will go in the future. In self-reflection you take time to examine what you have learned so far and, possibly more importantly, how this knowledge has helped you grow as a professional.
As you work on your reflection you will want to think back on the courses you have taken and the theories you have learned. There are specific questions listed in the assignment that will help you focus your reflection. As you contemplate your answers, ask yourself where you were when you started these courses. Have your professional plans changed? What drew you to the case report you worked on? What populations do you feel you would like to work with?
You may feel tempted to take this time to reflect on something outside of yourself, such as the design of the courses you took or the performance of the instructors you have had. This assignment is not meant for that purpose. Rather, it is meant to give you time to think about yourself and your development. When you enter the workforce, you will need to be able to sell yourself through your letters of interest for any job you may apply for. In other words, you need to know yourself well enough to make someone else want to hire you. Please complete this assignment as a step toward that self-knowledge.
