Synthesis Response: You will be asked to synthesize three of your classmates’ discussion posts with your own post each week. These syntheses will be due the week after the original post is due. First, identify the three classmates whose work you are synthesizing. You should identify what was similar about all of your posts and what was different about your posts. For example, did you identify, define, and apply the same key terms from the module? Did you apply the concept to the same area of social work? This synthesis should (a) give an overview of the four posts (your 3 classmates plus your own), (b) identify the similarities, and (c) identify the differences in three paragraphs. This means that using a 5-sentence paragraph, your synthesis should be at least 15 sentences long! Respond to your original Discussion post with your synthesis post. Identify it at the top as Module _ Synthesis. For example, I will post my Module 2 Discussion Synthesis as a response to my original Module 2 Discussion post, even though it is due in Module 3.
