Conduct an interview with a Community leader, who is responsible for disaster/emergency preparedness in your home community. Find out about collaboration among federal, state, and county in preparation for disaster/emergency situations. Please include how your home community is assessed to ensure that it is prepared for a disaster/an emergency. Also, discuss the role of the media related to disaster/emergency preparedness. Please also include your opinion on whether you think that your community is prepared for a disaster/emergency and support your claim(s). Your paper should be between 3-5 pages in length exclusive of a cover page and reference page (APA format with at least three [3] citations and two [2] references). At least one (1) in-text citation should be a personal communication. Please see rubric below and towards the end of the syllabus. Please submit your paper to com or the Student Success Center here at FGC and revise it before submitting it for a grade. Also, submit your paper to the drop box by Sunday at 11:59pm. (This assignment = 6 hours of clinical).
