The problem Plaskow identify is the injustice of women of the Torah, women are absent from the history of Judaism. “Women’s invisibility at the moment of entry into the covenant is reflected in the content of the covenant which, in both grammar and substance, addresses the community as male heads of the household (255).” Women wasn’t apart of history within Judaism. What Plaskow solution for women not being apart of Judaism history is Jewish feminist, where they forced their own people to re-member and recreate history. “Jewish feminists, in other words, must reclaim Torah as our own. We must render visible the presence, experience, and deeds of women erased in traditional sources (257)”. They demand justice for women within Judaism. “The Jewish need to reconstruct the past in the light of the present converges with the feminist need to recover women’s history within Judaism (258).”
