The problem Plaskow identify is the injustice of women of the Torah, women are absent from the history of Judaism. “Women’s invisibility at the moment of entry into the covenant is reflected in the content of the covenant which, in both grammar and substance, addresses the community as male heads of the household (255).” Women wasn’t apart of history within Judaism. Women were left out in the story of Sinai was recited because it was between men and God. Women were never apart of history and what they did for the communities. We must render visible the presence, experience, and deeds of women erased in traditional sources (257)”. They demand justice for women within Judaism. “The Jewish need to reconstruct the past in the light of the present converges with the feminist need to recover women’s history within Judaism (258).”
