Public health community needs

Based on the video in the Learning Resources, Post an explanation of two to three health issues that could be identified by analyzing the results of a community health needs assessment within this community. Explain why you chose those issues. Also, explain how you as a health educator would address at least one of these issue.

These videos offer a glimpse into the process of conducting community health needs assessments. They will provide you an introduction to planning programs at the community level, defining and understanding a health problem, and creating a needs assessment. As you will see, various public health professionals conduct community health needs assessments, including but not limited to health educators, public health nurses, and public health officials.
