At the core of the Civil Rights Movement was the granting of Basic American Rights for every American citizen regardless of race. (There are others goals but for this paper we will focus only on race) What is the “system” that kept/keeps the African American experience from being fully embraced into the American “Dream”? It is apparent that the institutional frameworks that were needed to be put in place to ensure and protect Black American Constitutional Rights were vacated, eradicated and codified by the American Justice system. In your conclusion you must expound on your ideas for a more just world. How do we get there?
